Getting to Know Your Executing Themes
(Get Your Guide Today)

By, Curtis Isozaki, M.A., CF-LSP

How do you make things happen? Executing themes catch an idea and make it real. When a team needs someone to implement a solution, these are the people who work tirelessly to get it done.

The Nine Executing Themes: Read each definition to Name it. Highlight the words or phrases that stand out to you to Claim it. Then answer the question for the strengths you lead with in your daily life to AIM it.

  • Achiever®: A deep internal drive to be productive every single day. Your scorecard resets at midnight. What one thing, if completed, would make today feel like it genuinely mattered
  • Arranger®: Holds a complex picture in your head and reconfigures it in real time when things change. Where does your team need someone to hold the moving pieces and find a better configuration?
  • Belief®: Core values so deep they define your identity and give your life meaning. Where can your values serve as an anchor for someone who is drifting?
  • Consistency®: Treats everyone by the same rules: equal access, clear expectations, no exceptions. Where can your commitment to equal treatment build trust in a system that needs it?
  • Deliberative®: Identifies risks before they happen and thinks through consequences others miss. What decision around you deserves a slower, more careful hand?
  • Discipline®: Freedom through structure: routines and systems that protect energy and excellence. What structure can you build or protect so others can sustain their best work?
  • Focus®: Takes a direction and uses it as a compass, filtering out everything that doesn’t matter. What one thing, if you protected it, would make the most meaningful difference?
  • Responsibility®: Takes psychological ownership of commitments. When you say it, it’s done. What commitment can you make and keep that deepens a relationship?
  • Restorative™: Loves to diagnose and fix. Energized by problems instead of drained by them. What relationship, system, or situation needs healing, and who is counting on you to start?

How to use your strengths: Name it. Claim it. AIM it.

  • Name It: Learn the words for what you already do well.
  • Claim It: Notice where that strength shows up in your week.
  • Aim It: Point it at one person or goal on purpose.
