Sustain: Flourishing With Your Executing Themes
(Get Your Guide Today)

How do you cultivate and sustain flourishing through what you do every day? Executing themes catch an idea and make it real. When a team needs someone to implement a solution, these are the people who work tirelessly to get it done.

Why it matters for flourishing: Flourishing is not accidental. It is cultivated through action, consistency, and the disciplined, purposeful effort that Executing people make look natural.

The Nine Executing Themes: Read each definition to Name it. Highlight the words or phrases that stand out to you to Claim it. Then answer the question for the strengths you lead with in your daily life to AIM it.

  • Achiever®: A deep internal drive to be productive every single day. Your scorecard resets at midnight. Daily accomplishment and meaningful contribution support both life satisfaction and a sense of purpose. What one thing, if completed, would make today feel like it genuinely mattered?
  • Arranger®: Holds a complex picture in your head and reconfigures it in real time when things change. Helps teams and communities adapt without falling apart, modeling that complexity can be navigated. Where does your team need someone to hold the moving pieces and find a better configuration?
  • Belief®: Core values so deep they define your identity and give your life meaning. Character and virtue are central to a thriving life, and Belief is one of its strongest anchors. Where can your values serve as an anchor for someone who is drifting?
  • Consistency®: Treats everyone by the same rules: equal access, clear expectations, no exceptions. Fairness and trust build the systems that make flourishing possible at scale. Where can your commitment to equal treatment build trust in a system that needs it?
  • Deliberative®: Identifies risks before they happen and thinks through consequences others miss.  Sustainable flourishing takes wisdom, restraint, and the courage to ask hard questions first. What decision around you deserves a slower, more careful hand?
  • Discipline®: Freedom through structure: routines and systems that protect energy and excellence. Health, wellbeing, and life satisfaction are all tied to sustainable rhythms. What structure can you build or protect so others can sustain their best work?
  • Focus®: Takes a direction and uses it as a compass, filtering out everything that doesn’t matter. Meaning and purpose, directing your life toward what matters, is a foundation of flourishing. What one thing, if you protected it, would make the most meaningful difference?
  • Responsibility®: Takes psychological ownership of commitments. When you say it, it’s done. Trust is the currency of close relationships and strong character, both foundations of flourishing.  What commitment can you make and keep that deepens a relationship?
  • Restorative™: Loves to diagnose and fix. Energized by problems instead of drained by them. Flourishing has to be sustained and restored, and Restorative is the repair function of a community. What relationship, system, or situation needs healing, and who is counting on you to start?
